Dean’s Scholarship

The online Master of Legal Studies offers Dean’s Scholarships for outstanding students accepted into the MLS program. Recipients are identified through evaluation of admission application materials, including the FAFSA. The process includes a holistic review of academic achievement, professional experience, letters of recommendation and the personal statement. Scholarship recipients receive at least 10 % tuition reduction.

Scholarship funds are equally disbursed to the recipient’s Northeastern student account based on enrollment each academic term during the course of the MLS program, as long as the student remains in good academic standing. Note: The recipient will be responsible for paying the remainder of the tuition invoice each term. All Dean’s Scholarship applications must be received by the stipulated deadlines of the selected term. Students may not receive awards toward more than one program or class.

Scholarship Renewal Requirements

To retain this scholarship, the recipient must maintain full-time enrollment in the Master of Legal Studies program, earn an overall grade point average of 3.25 or above and make satisfactory progress toward completion of the degree.
